Harry DeMattia
Collingwood FC
"When joining Peak I was looking for a facility that could cater to my AFL sporting goals. The facility was incredible, the programs really helped with my strength and power while the recovery services made sure I was able to keep training hard every week. Once I was drafted to Collingwood in 2023, I was confident in my physical ability after spending time in a high-performance environment with Mitch and the Peak team."

Bonnie Deas
Australia / Sydney Flames NBL
“Peak HQ is not only an elite high-performance training environment, but it’s a place where you’re genuinely supported to grow, both as an athlete and as a person. The top-level facilities and personalised programs are exactly what I need to keep improving but it’s the culture that really makes it stand out. Gilfo has been incredible on my journey — always adapting my program around my goals or injuries, and bringing an energy that lifts the whole space. His care for each individual is real, and that kind of support is rare. If you’re serious about pushing yourself in all the right ways, Peak is where you’ll thrive.“

Tory Taylor
Chicago Bears NFL
“Being part of a professional sports teams I understand how important culture is to the success of an organisation, and it is no different at Peak. I think what separates Peak from other gyms and performance centres is the care they show towards their athletes, you don’t just feel like a number. Can’t wait to get back and train there in my off-season.”

Molly McDonald
AFLW
“Being a member at Peak Performance grants me access to professional-level facilities. Mitch and the team not only allow me to utilise these facilities but also support my AFLW programming. Their assistance extends to the gym and recovery sessions, fostering a welcoming and positive environment. Peak’s high-quality recovery facilities ensure my body is primed for both strength and running blocks. I highly recommend Peak Performance to athletes at any level.”

Hayden Gavine
AFL Umpire
"Mitch and the Team at Peak have been apart of my umpiring journey for the past 14 years. Honestly, I wouldn’t have made it to the AFL without their guidance. Their knowledge of injury prevention and enhancing athletic performance has helped me stay injury free, while improving my speed, strength and recovery from games. Peak Performance is more than a gym, it’s a family, it’s the highlight of my week, it’s a place I go to have fun and switch off from the outside world."

"When I stopped playing competitive sport, my strength, fitness and overall health started to fall away. Mitch helped me set clear goals and implement a process to achieve them. Initially, we set out to improve my general strength and quality of movement, but as the years have gone by and my goals have evolved, the team have adapted the process to support me. The training habits that I’ve engrained in my day to day life is the biggest takeaway so far. I know that no matter what my goals are, the discipline that Peak has developed in me will help me succeed. I’m super grateful to Mitch and the team for that!"

With a background in pursuing a career in professional sport, I’ve developed an enthusiasm for helping individuals improve through strength and conditioning. I take pride in teaching clients how to lift safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on movement quality and long-term development. Guiding people to build confidence in the gym and progress toward their goals is where I find the most satisfaction.

MAX Peters
My joys for Strength & Conditioning came from my overall enjoyments of anything and everything sport related. I have also developed an interest and compassion for those going through injury rehab as I have been through 2 serious injuries myself, having the support of strength coaches really impacted how successful my return to sport was. My drive comes from being able to positively impact people's sporting/training journeys.
COACH
My Current Goal:
Work at a club that competes at a national level
MAX REA
I see injury rehabilitation as "training in the presence of injury." I love to work with clients who have dealt with long term shoulder, knee, ankle and groin issues who want to get back doing what they love. I also enjoy working in the time pressure of acute sporting injuries on a short turnaround to get my patients back out there as soon as possible.
